Our goal for season of 2018 is to reduce the electricity consumption to 6.0kw/h/gn

As you can easily understand, water consumption is a very important aspect in our operation. The year 2013 we made many efforts to become more sustainable and make people; clients and staff alike, understand that the water resources are not endless. Since then we followed a new way of cleaning the rooms. We train all of our housekeepers in the correct use of the new materials in order to ensure that we continue to spend almost 70% less water every day for the rooms’ cleaning. We maintain the automatic garden irrigation systems and monitor its performance.
Furthermore , we have completed the installation of eco taps to the showers, wash basin faucets and kitchenette faucets to the entirety of our rooms as well as strict adjustment to the water waste of the flush tanks.
Comparing to season 2016, Atrion hotel has achieved the following goals for 2017
Our goal for next season is to reduce the water consumption to 120 lt/gn.

Our plan for next season are not as difficult, as we are actively engaged to achieve less waste production, and we have already decided about the following:
Our goal for the season of 2018 is to reduce the volume of the waste by estimated 15% and increase the combined recycle by 15%.
Employees are important to a business because they support the management of the company in running the business and by interacting with management, they provide ideas on how to improve and what changes could be done to help. Employees also form the human capital of a business. This year we invested a lot to the environmental issues with increased training hours spend for that reason.
We also increased the locals in our staff to 81% (25/31) as the business does not support discrimination or racism, but we focus on helping the local economy so that it can sustain itself for years to come.
All of our staff is being paid on a certain date and always on time, and their income is way above the Greek minimum and standard salaries.
We are providing all of our staff with a free meal and a beverage during their break.
We are also providing them with an anonymous satisfaction report where they can mention any problems that they may have faced in the hotel, with other co-workers, the employer or the guests.

Our goal for next season is to adopt the idea of a salary bonus to the employee of the month. Of each department, which will be voted by the staff and the management combined.
